Competed between two fighters, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport. It allows a wide variety of fighting techniques and skills from a mixture of other combat sports used in competition. The MMA rules allow usage of both striking and grappling techniques while standing and on the ground. Unlike tag team Wrestling, MMA is a two-people fight.

Difference between MMA and Wrestling:

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Professional Wrestling both combine Grappling and Strikes. In MMA, fights are purely competitions. While Professional Wrestling where the outcomes and moves performed are often staged. Most of the time, it is scripted or predetermined. The difference between these two combat sports is very clear. It looks like MMA has a clear vision, founded on genuinity.  It has already become more popular worldwide than any other combat sports. The tag team fights are played between two team members. When a member gets tired he touches a fresh fighter of his team to hand over him the charge to fight with the opponent who is still in the ring. By tagging his teammate’s hand while leaving he passed the fighting charge to him in the ring. These wrestlers are often seen ostensibly writhing in pain.

Like most of the popular combat sports, MMA  does not have tag team fights.  The martial arts competed by two people are Boxing,Karate, BJJ, Judo, Muay, Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Taekwondo, Krav Maga, Aikido, Sambo, Savate, Lethwei, Capoeira, Sumo, Fencing, Pankration, Sanda, Shaolin Kung Fu, Arnis and Submission Wrestling.

Tag Team fight:

Tag team Wrestling is a type of professional wrestling in which multiple wrestlers take part. Tag teams are commonly made of established professional teams who wrestle regularly as a unit under a team name and identity. Although most of the events in team wrestling are staged, the physicality is real. With their stunt performance, wrestlers execute feats of athleticism. Live flying, colliding with each other, people greatly enjoy it. With the presence of a huge audience to watch their madness performance, it is a pandemonium.

Conclusion:

Professional Wrestling with a tag team offers a gimmick match. A tag team is a group of characters flaunting physical strength that take turns of fighting, usually one-on-one. At the time of departure, the tired partner touches the hand of the new wrestling character who hops on the stage. However, MMA does not have tag team fights to maintain its original form. There is no pretension in MMA. It is a tough fight between two contestants to prove their individual strength.
