About Boxing:

Boxing is a combat sport, fighting between two people. They usually wear protective hand gloves and other protective equipment such as hand wraps, mouthguards, and groin guards to avoid possible and accidental throws on the sensitive areas. In boxing matches, boxers, especially professional ones, fiercely fight for honor and prizes.

Boxing only involves punching and the use of footwork for movement. Boxers can enjoy a great deal of liberty of dancing around the ring to attack and avoid being attacked by the opponent. But they only land punches on the opponent with their hands in short-range. Boxers are only allowed to punch above the belt. Punching below the opponent’s belt would be discredited and even disqualified.

People all around the globe have high opinions about boxing as a martial art. The graceful punch of a man or a strong lady offers a spectacular scene for the onlookers. Boxing has taken the place of overall human interest in martial arts and sports.

Boxing vs kickboxing:

Like most martial arts, boxing is also an excellent way for building physical endurance and self-confidence. If you are attacked, or there is any apprehension of being attacked, your masterly boxing application alone can save you as a self-defense tool.

On other hand, Kickboxing is an even more punishing martial art. It combines punching with kicking and footwork, involving all strong natural tools like the feet, the shins, the knees, the hands, and the elbows.

Kickboxing focuses on a variety of things. The chief advantage of kickboxing is the use of the hands, the feet, the elbows, the knees, and sometimes the head, if it is hurt-proof, as weapons to strike the opponent and to defend oneself from him.

Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports and a form of boxing that includes kicking, kneeing, and punching. The professional combat takes place in a boxing ring, normally wearing shorts and padded boxing gloves. Also, putting mouthguards and groin guards are necessary for the match.

Bare feet fighting or practice are ideal for kickboxing. Arduous training for Kickboxing is seriously meant for competition, general fitness, and self-defense, as well.

We know kickboxing is a group of arts that mix punches and kicks like Muay Thai, Savate, Karate, or Sanda. But at the same time, it has its own identity to be known as an independent art.

Boxing has limited jurisdiction to apply its punches within the upper body of the opponent. It is even worse, in case of street assault or muggers robbery, because boxing is a close contact attack. Therefore, throwing boxing at the opponent at a short distance without getting hit is not easy in self-defense.

In our everyday life, we are vulnerable to ever-increasing hostile situations.  Some social nuisances are always present in public places to provoke others to enjoy sick pleasure and most of the time that triggers brawls.
