Steroids are related to chemistry. Any of a number of organic compounds naturally produced in the body, including certain hormones and vitamins. But here in this article the term steroid describes both hormones produced by the body and artificially. Artificially produced steroids used as medications that duplicate the action for the naturally occurring steroids. Today we shall discuss whether Khabib is one of those MMA fighters who take steroids.

MMA Fighters on Steroids:

Joe Rogan, an American Colour Commentator estimates that 50-60 percent of UFC fighters are using steroids. Despite the dangerous effect of artificial steroids, most MMA fighters use it. Khabib has been tested twice this year. The test has been conducted by The U.S. Anti-doping Agency (USADA). The agency to the National Anti-doping Organization (NADO) in the United States for Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American, and Para American sports. However, he passed the test without a doubt. Actually Khabib has never failed a drug test. He has never been disqualified for an illegal strike. Despite his 100% win record losing only 1 round in his whole career he maintained modest behavior.

They say he has excellent genetics, he’s trained since he was a small boy. He comes from a very tough martial culture and a family of good wrestlers. With his clean blood, not tainted by steroids,  and having no unnecessary muscle mass, he has become an adorable MMA fighter.

UFC President Dana White urge:

To dissuade from using banned steroids, UFC President Dana White is quoted as saying, “The health and safety of our athletes is our top priority. We’ve seen the issues performance-enhancing drugs have caused in other sports and we’re going to do everything we can to keep them out of the UFC and Strikeforce. Our athletes are already held to the highest testing standards in all sports by athletic commissions. Our new testing policy for performance-enhancing drugs only further shows how important it is to us to have our athletes competing on a level playing field.”

Khabib brief account:

Khabib whose full name is Khabib Abdulmanapovich Nurmagomedov is a Russian former professional Mixed Martial Artist. Throughout his fighting career, he competed in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Therefore, he was the longest-reigning UFC lightweight Champion ever, having held the title from April 2018 to March 2021. If he had taken steroids he would not have maintained the body weight to continue playing in the lightweight division.

Conclusion:

Khabib never failed a drug test taken by USADA, not even a surprise test conducted by the same agency. Illegal drugs are religiously  forbidden for a Muslim. Khabib lived in a Muslim community, so naturally he wouldn’t give up his legacy by taking illegal substances ‘steroids’
