Numerous astonishing fastest knockouts in boxing history have been recorded. So far many categories of boxing are professional, non-professional, amateur, and boxing matches for title championships. Also, non-title tournaments have taken place since the beginning of boxing as a sport. Today we will discuss some of the fastest knockouts in boxing history. 

About some fastest knockouts in boxing matches:

The viewers of the boxing matches sometimes enjoy the knockout scenes that take a little time just in front of their eyes with jaw drops and wows! The fallen fig is given a chance to come back to the fight by counting 1 to 10 by the referee. If he could not stand up within the time he was knocked out and the other fighter was declared the winner of the match.  

 In non-professional boxing history, the fastest knockout happened when Mike Collins knocked out Pat Brownson in 4 seconds with his first punch of the fight. It was a Golden Gloves tournament that took place in Minneapolis on November 4, 1947. It was recorded in the Guinness World Book.

  We have a professional woman knockout named Seniesa Estrada who took only Seven Seconds to knockout Miranda Atkins. Estrada punched on Miranda Atkins from the opening bell and consumed just 7 SECONDS making room among the fastest knockouts in boxing history. 

 Having said tale of the fastest knockouts in early boxing fights doesn’t excite too much to make history. Because at that time there were no strict rules, even there was no counting to give the fallen boxer a fair chance to fight back. In Boxing sports, there are many journeymen fighters, sometimes employed, whose only job is to care for better boxers to help make them shine more in future careers. As a result, many more unknown, unsung boxers’ knockout incidents, remain unnoticeable. The fastest knockout records as we mentioned above are not as good as the knockouts recorded in a boxing title fight. 

 Jeremy Williams beat Arthur Weathers by knockout at 10 SECONDS. Weathers threw a loose jab at Williams’ that slipped, while Williams, in return,  threw a body shot followed up with a solid right uppercut. Weather fell on the floor and his eyes rolled back, in the socket almost in the direction of his head. As a result, he hardly saw any object clearly at that time. Marty Denkin, the referee of the boxing match, counted to four and signaled that the 19, 1996as over. The 10 SECONDS boxing match took place on March 19, 1996, at Spruce Goose Dome, Long Beach, California, USA. 

 Zolani Tete set a new world record in the WBO bantamweight with his incredible punch on Siboniso Gonya’s chin and the match was held at the SSE Arena in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland in 2017. Tete punched Gonya incessantly from the very first bell and knocked him down at 11 SECONDS to retain the prestigious winning WBO bantamweight belt.

    Jimmy Thunder, Samoan-born New Zealand, professional boxer holds his winning record. According to the USA Network’s Tuesday Night Fights (March 18, 1997), he knocked out Crawford Grimsley with his first punch, scoring the fastest knockout in history at 13 SECONDS,  including the supposed count of 10, which had not even begun. So it lasted 3 Seconds. Also to mention that Crawford Grimsley, a heavyweight boxer, won boxing matches 20 times by knockouts. 

 Mike Tyson’s 30 SECONDS knockout victory over Marvis Frazier was a very much professional match history will always remember. The boxing match took place at Glens Falls Civic Center, New York, Saturday, July 26, 1986. He has more legendary boxing feats in his professional career. He has many more knockout victory records. He knocked out Robert Colay at 37 SECONDS. He felled Ricardo Spain at 39 seconds.

Heavyweight Earnie Shavers and Jimmy Ellis fight in Madison Square Garden, New York. The was 18, 1993ulShaver’sthe episode was aired by HBO Sports on June 18, 1993. Shaver defeats Ellis with non-stopping punching and knocks him out in 11 SECONDS. 

  Daniel Jimenez beats Harald Geier in 17 SECONDS,  making one of the fastest knockouts in boxing history. The fighting was held on Sept For member 3,1994. He is a Puerto Rican national and is best known for having won the WBO title as a prizefighting professional boxer.

    Gerald McClellan beats Jay Bell in 20 SECONDS.McClellan at the sound of the bell took a look at his opponent Jay Bell and landed a powerful left hook to the kidneys, which immediately sent Bell to the canvas. Thus McClellan defended his World Boxing Council Middleweight t Belt by knocking him out at 20 seconds.

Chris Eubank, a former Middleweight and Super Middleweight boxer, was one of England’s finest. He defended his title by beating Santos by knockout in 20 seconds before an exciting audience at the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington, London, England. 

Bernard Hopkins, in his first defense of the middleweight championship, knocked out Steve Frank in 24 seconds. 

Naseem Hamed, nicknamed Prince, to retain his World Boxing Organisation Featherweight Title, beats Said Lawal by a knockout that took only 35 seconds. The prince boxer was highly appreciated for his flashy style and prejudicing persuasion. He was a hero to his fans who loved to see him in person at least for some time. The amazing knockout boxing match took place on March 16, 1996, at Scottish Exhibition Centre, Glasgow, Scotland, UK.  

 Muhammad Ali has a record of knocking Brian London out of the heavy women’s title match in the third round. We know every round of men’s fighting consists of 3 minutes. So Ali’s knocking out boxer Lo can hardly be considered one of the fastest knockouts in boxing history. Nonetheless, it is worth mentioning, because the fight was about a heavyweight title match.
