  1. Taekwondo & Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: Taekwondo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a good combination as it teaches an MMA practitioner both grappling and striking techniques together. The combination of striking and grappling skills would make a fighter an undefeatable winning machine in the Octagon. 
  1. Judo & Boxing: Judo and boxing work superbly together. These two are the best combo. To punish a competitor perfectly an MMA fighter needs to learn to execute the techniques of judo and boxing simultaneously. A boxer can hit harder than anyone, while a judoka overpowers his opponent with throws and groundwork. A boxer learns how to hit and be hit, but a judoka does the real groundwork. 

Admittedly, Judo and Boxing haven’t had as much success in professional MMA as the other mentioned combinations. But it’s extremely useful in real-life self-defence situations, especially in a bar brawl or a street fight.
