Ronda Jean Rousey was born on February 1, 1987, in Riverside, California USA. She is an American professional wrestler, actress, former judoka, and Mixed Martial Artist. She is currently signed to WWE, where she performs on the SmackDown brand. Before joining WWE, she was known to have fought in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Today we shall discuss a great female martial artist.

Rousey's Ability At Her Prime

Ronda Rousey is a highly accomplished martial artist.

It is a hypothetical question if she could beat 2 men in an MMA fight. Before jumping to the conclusion, we may listen to a true story regarding her fight with two huge guys in a movie theater. As the story unfolds, we learn that while attending the movie Juno, a girl seated behind Rousey put her feet up on the back of Rousey’s chair. The girl even nudged Rousey in the head with her shoe at one point. She came to the theater with her boyfriend and three other couples, whose arrogant behavior was outrageous that drew the fury of the entire theater.

Rousey asked the girl politely to stop several times. The girl responded by giving Rousey an ugly look and resuming her head-nudging game. Provoked, after the movie ended, Rousey snatched off the girl’s shoe and threw it across the theater, telling her to “get some manners.” Following the incidents, two hugely built men from the group cornered Rousey and ordered her to go get the shoe. Upon Rousey’s refusal, a shoving match took place before all hell finally broke loose in the theatre. In response to the attack, she hurt both of them so badly that they went to the police to file charges against her. When in fact, they were the ones that started the fight with her.

According to Rousey, she punched one of the men several times in the face before the other attacker was thrown in the other direction. The group was so distasteful that everyone in the theater stood and applauded Rousey during the brief grappling. The theater brawl took place before she started her fighting career. But that was when she was doing judo alone.

Could Rousey beat 2 MMA men in her prime?

Fighting with a non-trained person and fighting with an MMA fighter is not the same. However, Rousey retired from MMA in 2016. She was the first female fighter inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2018. Rousey began a career in professional wrestling in 2018. She signed with WWE and debuted at WrestleMania 34.

Ronda Rousey MMA Record: 12-2-0 ( Twelve wins and two losses). She lost to Amanda Nunes by Knockout/Technical Knockout in the Bantamweight division. She has 12 wins with a 100% finish rate, including 3 by knockout, and 9 by submission.

Despite being a heavy-betting favorite, Rousey was heavily struck by Holm in the MMA fight. And she was knocked out with a head kick in round two, losing her title.

Rousey's Confidence and Reality

Ronda Rousey was very confident about herself. She remarked, “I fight for a living. In a no-rules fight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet.” Rousey, 28, once said she believed she could beat former two-time UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez in a fight. But she never fought with an MMA guy. If she could beat 2 average men in an MMA fight, she would.

Sports pundits believe Rousey could not have beaten a single trained MMA male fighter in her prime, let alone two men fighters. Rousey was a skilled female Judoka and could beat most women in Judo. But the proven truth is, in most sports, especially combat sports, females just could not compete with their male counterparts. There is just too much difference between male and female strength, speed, durability, height, weight, etc. Rousey’s judo and ferocity allowed her to dominate an immature women’s MMA Bantamweight division. But her last two consecutive MMA fight losses have shown how many imperfections she had in her game. The unrealistic talk of her beating male MMA fighters or Floyd Mayweather was just overblown hype. The hyperbole used by most fighters is usually to make their fans happy.

It would have been nice to enjoy watching combat sports fought by men and women together. But there are reasons why combat sports are divided between males and females as well as weight classes. We see the many muscles mass men possess, women do not have that much. In short, women can have many talents, but beating male MMA fighters is not among them.

Ronda Rousey Current Occupation

Rousey has basked in glory from her three-year undefeated reign of dominance as UFC’s Bantamweight champion. She was the first woman to sign with UFC. She deserves fame for defending her title six times and being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2018. Both an actress and a martial artist, Ronda Rousey is the current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, well-known for finishing fights in under 30 seconds.

Conclusion

Blonde Ronda Rousey with a standard height and weight for a woman is a sensational former MMA fighter. Although she never fought with a man in an MMA competition, she could give it a try. In the prime of life, sometimes many impossible things happen to be possible.
