3.Chuck Liddell

Age: 53 years (December 17, 1969). Hall of Famer and former Lightweight Champion Chuck Liddel announced his retirement from the sport when he was 41 years old. 

4.Fabricio Werdum

Age: 45 years (July 30, 1977). 

Former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum though retired at 45, the Brazilian wishes to try his hands at professional boxing. 

5.Mark Coleman

Age: 58 years (December 20, 1964). He spent three years doing no competition before he announced via Facebook that he has officially retired from MMA competition at 48 years of age.

6.Dan Severn: UFC pioneer Dan Severn retires from MMA at age 54. His UFC rec1 is 1 and is 01-19-7. 

7.Maurice Smith: His name is written in the history books as the first African-American to win a UFC championship and the coveted UFC heavyweight championship. Smith fought various promotions before he finally retired from MMA at the age of 51.

8.Ken Shamrock retired from MMA in 2019, but he still looks good at the age of 58 years. The ‘World’s Most Dangerous Man’ has proved that age is in fact, just a number.

Other well-accomplished UFC fighters retired from MMA fights when they are already far older than 38 years.
